Home-made Alicante hard nougat shaped D.O. Jijona and Alicante, elaborated with Marcona Almond and Rosemary Honey 100% natural.
The cake is very ancient but made with a concept from 2.0 generation. It is handy and clean. It is crunchy and tasty, but with a light format of 200g and easy to split. A fine Rosemary Honey flavour stands out, with Marcona almond in the background. Its wafer melts quickly in the mouth and it is quite more abundant tan in the conventional Alicante hard nougat.
We run out of it fast in the shop but one never gets tired of it. More and more, since a long time ago we make it with potato flour wafer, therefore it is suitable for gluten, cow milk, soy and sulphites intolerants.
It’s called Imperial because it is worth an empire.
Ingredients: Marcona almond, Rosemary honey, sugar, egg albumin, wafers (potato and sunflower oil).
